The Analyst partners closely with RCMS leadership to strengthen operational performance, support the deployment of new initiatives, and contribute to the development of scalable frameworks for service delivery. This includes preparing proposals for new projects, conducting data analysis and forecasting, and identifying opportunities to enhance revenue cycle functions such as AR follow-up, denials management, underpayments, and patient access operations.

This is a fast-paced, collaborative role that offers exposure to a wide range of revenue cycle functions and encourages both independent analysis and team-based problem solving. While regular travel is not required, Analysts are occasionally invited to Healthrise headquarters for in-person collaboration and may occasionally travel to partner sites as needed for project-specific support.

Key Responsibilities

The RCMS Analyst plays a critical role in supporting outsourced revenue cycle operations through data analysis, initiative deployment, and performance optimization. Working closely with both internal stakeholders and client partners, the Analyst is responsible for:

  • Analyzing metrics, reports, and financial data to uncover trends, identify issues, and highlight opportunities for improvement.
  • Translating complex data into clear, actionable insights and well-structured deliverables for internal and external audiences.
  • Collaborating on the design and implementation of process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall yield.
  • Supporting the development of proposals, performance dashboards, and operational frameworks to guide current and future-state initiatives.
  • Contributing to Healthrise-led projects by participating in planning, execution, progress tracking, and communication of deliverables.
  • Maintaining proactive, timely communication on goals, milestones, and risks to ensure alignment with both client expectations and Healthrise standards.
  • Participating in internal innovation and solutioning sessions to promote continuous improvement and operational excellence across the RCMS division.
  • Serving as cultural stewards within RCMS by driving leadership development, supporting internal initiatives such as RCMS Connect, and modeling collaborative, growth-minded behaviors that reinforce our commitment to people, performance, and progress.

Requirements:
  • At least one year of experience in revenue cycle operations, consulting, analytics, or related roles
  • Strong ability to analyze, interpret, and model data to identify trends, generate insights, and support operational improvements
  • Demonstrated ability to support proposal development , including data gathering, formatting, and translating insights into client-ready materials
  • Willingness to contribute to implementation planning and execution , including process documentation and performance tracking
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, flexible environment with shifting priorities and deadlines
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with both the RCMS analyst team and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Demonstrates initiative and creativity in identifying opportunities for process improvement or innovation
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to clearly convey analysis and ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint ; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in healthcare administration, finance, engineering, business administration, data science, or a related field preferred
