Job Description

Provides routine, standardized nursing care for patients under the supervision of the physician. This position is bonus eligible. Responsibilities include providing patient care based on individualized plans delegated by Registered Nurse/Provider, assisting providers with examinations and procedures, arranging patient appointments for diagnostic testing and referrals, monitoring medical supplies and equipment, documenting patient vital statistics and encounter data, promoting positive health behaviors through patient education, preparing and cleaning exam rooms, handling clinically related telephone calls, completing medical/physical history forms for insurance, administering oral and injectable medications as directed, serving as a role model and mentor, attending meetings, completing compliance training, practicing efficient use of supplies, maintaining a safe environment, assuming responsibility for professional development, and adhering to organizational policies. This is a non-management position reporting to a supervisor or manager. Minimum requirements include completion of an LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing or program equivalency, holding a current LPN compact/multistate license or state license, with no experience required.
